🌟 Senior Care Assistant – Dementia & Mental Health

£13.00 per hour (pay review in April)
📍 Swanage – Transport provided from Poole!
🕒 36 hours | 4–12 hr shifts | Occasional nights

We’re supporting a small, friendly residential home in Swanage specialising in dementia and mental health care. This is a warm, family‑style service where staff are genuinely valued, you’ll even get free transport from Poole for every shift.

The Role

As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll help lead shifts and ensure residents receive high‑quality, person‑centred care, including:

• Personal care & daily living support
• Medication administration (if trained)
• Supporting & guiding Care Assistants
• Clear care documentation
• Promoting dignity, choice & independence
• Dementia and mental health support

About You

You’ll be a great fit if you:

• Have Senior Care experience, or strong Care Assistant experience ready to step up
• Have dementia and/or mental health experience
• Hold (or are working towards) NVQ Level 2/3
• Are confident leading shifts
• Are compassionate, reliable, and flexible for occasional nights
